Salary in AFCAT 2 2020: The initial salary of a Flying officer is about Rs. 1.2 Lacs per month. The basic salary slab of the Flying Officer is Rs. 56100 – 110700/-. This pay scale is at level 10. In addition, to basic pay, IAF also pays allowances like Flying, Technical, Field Area, Special Compensatory (Hill area), Special Force, Siachen, Island Special Duty, Test Pilot & Flight Test Engineer, Area, and Remote Locality Allowance.

Educational Qualification for AFCAT 2 2020
Candidates should be Graduates (Minimum three-year degree course) in any discipline from a recognized University. For detailed information please see the official notification.
The application fee for the AFCAT 2 2020 exam is Rs. 250/-. The application fee is non-refundable. Candidates need to pay the AFCAT 2 2020 application fee online.
- Flying Branch:- Candidates applying for the flying branch in the AFCAT 2 2020 should be between 20 to 24 years as on 01 July 2021 i.e. born between 02 July 1997 to 01 July 2001. (both dates inclusive). Candidates having Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is can apply up to 26 years of age i.e. born between 02 July 1995 to 01 July 2001 (both dates inclusive).
- Ground Duty Branches:- Candidates should be between 20 to 26 years of age as on 01 July 2021 i.e. born between 02 July 1995 to 01 July 2001 (both dates inclusive).

AFCAT 02 2020 Selection Process
Candidates have to appear for the AFCAT 2 2020 examination. After passing the examination, IAF will call candidates for SSB interview at various SSB Centres. Successful candidates have to undergo a medical examination. Finally, there will be a merit list. Successful candidates have to undergo training at Air Force Academy, Hyderabad.
AFCAT 2 2020 AFSB Interview
If you pass the written examination, you need to go for an AFSB interview. You need to select the AFSB center online. Indian Air Force has four AFSB testing centers located at Dehradun, Varanasi, Mysore, and Gandhinagar.
IAF calls you for an interview at the selected center. SSB Interview for AFCAT 2 2020 has three stages. The first stage includes Officer Intelligence Rating Test (OIRT), Picture Perception and discussion test, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning Test, Story writing, and group discussion. In other words, we call the first stage as a screening test.
In the second stage, you undergo the Situation Reaction Test (SRT), Word Association Test (WAT), Command Task, Military Aptitude Test, Personal Interview, etc. Candidates who apply for flying branch, undergo Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS) test.
Thereafter, the last stage of the interview is the Conference. During the conference Presiding Officer, Ground Task Officer (GTO), and Psychologist sit together to finalize the scores, they brief further course of action to the successful candidates.
AFCAT 2 2020 Medical Test
Congratulations! Once you have qualified the AFSB interview, you have to undergo a medical examination. You have to pass various medical tests of Blood, Thyroid, Sugar, Blood Pressure, ECG, X-Ray, Ultrasound, Eye, etc. Most of the time, Air Force Central Medical Establishment (AFCME), Delhi conducts medical tests for AFSB candidates. Final Merit List of AFCAT 2 2020
Final Merit List is prepared based on performance in the AFCAT examination and AFSB interview. Names of candidates are displayed in the list in order of merit. Based on the candidate’s performance and available vacancies, Permanent Commission/ Short Service Commission is allotted to the candidate.
Indian Air Force has declared AFCAT 01/2020 result on 17th March 2020. Candidates can check their results on https://afcat.cdac.in/AFCAT/ website. In order to view the result, you need to login to the website using your credentials. Credentials include email address, password, and captcha. Once you are logged in, go to the Result section and click on the link. It will show your score exam wise i.e AFCAT(Air Force Common Admission Test) & EKT(Engineering Knowledge Test). AFCAT 01/2020 Score Calculation Formula
Indian Air Force has a certain formula to calculate the AFCAT score as discussed below.
There are 100 questions in AFCAT written exam. Each question carries 3 marks. There is 1/3 negative marking which means for every wrong answer 1 mark is deducted. If you do not attempt any question then neither you gain any mark nor you lose. Marks of wrong answers is deducted from correct answers’ marks. For example, you attempted 70 questions and out of that 10 were wrong. Then your score would be like this.
60 X 3 = 180 – 10 = 170 Marks
