4 Significant Changes That Will Take Place Right After The Launch Of National Test Agency

1. National Test Agency Will Conduct All The Major Exam From 2019 Onwards

Yes, CBSE will no more conduct any of the competitive exams. National Test Agency will conduct all those exams. However, the format and pattern of the exams will remain the same as earlier. Some of the major exams that National Test Agency will now conduct are:

  • IIT JEE (Mains)
  • NEET
  • CMAT
  • GPAT and others.

2. National Test Agency Will Conduct IIT JEE And NEET Twice A Year

Yes, National Test Agency is all set to conduct one of the most popular exams IIT JEE twice a year. Also, NEET will be conducted twice a year in February and May. NAT has defined January and April as the fixed schedule of the IIT JEE exam that will take place from 2019 January onwards. So, candidates will now appear twice in these exams, and their best score in any of these two attempts will define the selection.

3. National Test Agency Has Announced Computer Based Exam For All

Whether you talk about IIT or NEET or any other competitive exam, the exam mode will be strictly Computer Based. According to the National Test Agency, this move will bring transparency to the exams. So, it’s high time now to say goodbye to pen-paper based exams.

4. National Test Agency Will Conduct Exams With New Schedule

National Test Agency has redefined the schedule of major exams. For NEET 2019, the online application submission procedure will begin in Oct 2018. Expected exam date for NEET 2019 is between 3rd to 17th February and 12th to 26th may. So, candidates can now choose the date as per their comfortability and can appear accordingly in the exam.
